Opposition MPs at Gandhi Smriti To Support Youngsters Puts More Pressure on Modi Govt

We are at Gandhi Smriti where 200 opposition leaders had come here today to pay their symbolic tribute to Gandhi and remind the government that the country is founded on principles of non-violence. We saw these MPs leaving from leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi's residence earlier today. After that they got into buses, they were stopped briefly by the Delhi police and then they came here. Congress leaders, Congress MP Naseer Hussain telling us earlier that this was necessary as a symbolic visit to remind the government that the country is founded on principles of Mahatma Gandhi and their demand for Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation will continue and they will continue to step up pressure on the government until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns and no discussion in parliament can take place unless Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
