All metro connectivity to and from Jantar Mantar has been closed. 16 metro stations in and around this area have now been shut down by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. I'm standing in front of the Janpath Metro Station. This is one of the 16 metro stations that have been shut down. I'm going to read out the names of the metro stations for the convenience of our viewers. So, Lokalyaan Mark, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Mark, Barakamba Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teer, Janpath, Mundi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delegate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jorbag, Shivaji Stadium. These are all metro stations that have been shut down due to quote unquote security concerns as per the DMRC. Now importantly the interchange facilities that are available inside these metro stations, those facilities are still on, they have not been shut down because remember these are central metro stations that we are talking about. Yesterday, these metro stations were opened up after the kind of police brutality that took place on Monday and the confrontation that took place on Monday. Yesterday they were opened up, but last night on this very road where I am standing, there were isolated incidents of violence. According to the police, there were several rapid action forces that were allegedly beaten up by some lumpen elements who became a part of this protest. But right now, what I can update is that these metro stations have been shut again and this has caused disruption in travel. Most passengers, office goers have had to resort to travelling by road because of these metro stations being shut.
