Heavy police deployment remains in place in and around Jantar Mantar

These crowds here are almost becoming impossible to contain now because these are groups of students protesting at Jantar Mantar. But these crowds are constantly spilling onto the streets. This is the main road where I'm reporting from. You can see the traffic moving as well. But this traffic has been blocked by all these protesters who have spilled onto the streets because the designated protest site, the Jantar Mantar site, simply cannot contain these crowds. This is a day after, a couple of hours after there was massive police brutality and students were assaulted on these very roads, but their spirits remain undeterred by police action and by the violent trackdown that took place yesterday.
