The 'Chalo Sansad' march marked one of the biggest on-ground protests seen in India in recent years

I'm going to show you how many people are here at the Cockroach Janta Party's protest and march to the parliament. Behind me, you'll see a sea of people. This is one side. Even on my other side, you'll see that for as far as we can see, we only see people. This crowd is not just unprecedented for the Cockroach Janta Party, but it also marks one of the biggest protests that India and the national capital has seen in the last few years. They've crossed two levels of barricades. There was one barricade close to that bus that you're seeing. Then there was another barricade after that. These protesters have broken those barricades, climbed through those barricades. Many protesters were detained while doing this. Many protesters were beaten up as well. But now they've made their way closer to the parliament there. They've broken three levels of barricade. The third level was here where you're seeing the blue bus. I'm currently standing on a bus with the police's permission to show you how many people are here. And through this view from the top actually shows you the strength of people that have turned up. This is the way actually to the Jantar Mantar. And you see even from the Jantar Mantar so many people are coming in It very hard to breathe It very hard to walk We were in that crowd right now And this crowd is clearly out of control for both the Delhi police and for the Cockroach Janta Party The leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party are appealing to these protesters to make it peaceful. Wherever you can see, you'll only see people, even in the buildings around this area. Where I'm standing is a detention bus and many protesters have been put in several of these detention buses that you're seeing all around this route. These white ones are the detention buses. There are tear gas vans as well, but these protesters are not getting affected by any of that. And let me tell you here, this is not a protest site. This is a main road. This is actually one of the most important roads of the national capital, the Sansad Marg. Where the crowd is starting from is Kanaat Place. It's going through the Parliament Street Police Station. The Parliament Street Police Station is here. and the crowd even goes beyond that. So from what I'm seeing right now, this crowd is stretching through around 700 metres of this road. This entire main road has been blocked. There's no possibility of any traffic moving through this place. There are several students also we have met here who have come from across the country expressing their frustration, demanding the education minister's resignation.
