All roads leading to Jantar Mantar have been blocked, metro services have also been disrupted.

Jantar Mantar has been turned into a prison. That's what a lot of these protesters are saying. Because there are multiple layers of security here. There are rapid action forces personnel that have been deployed here in huge numbers. They are armed with tear gas shells. And in fact, there are multiple layers of barricading as well. This is one of the entrances to the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar. And this has been completely fortified. Now, this was the route that the Sansad Chalo march was supposed to take. It hasn't started yet. It is around noon and there has been no official announcement as far as the Sansad Chalo march is concerned. But people have gathered in large numbers. As a journalist, I have covered multiple protests but I haven't seen this kind of a crowd converge at Jantar Mantar. This is almost unprecedented, at least in the past few years we haven't seen this kind of a crowd. And people are still trickling in. It's 12, but people are coming in. It's a Monday. So you can imagine the kind of resonance that this entire movement has generated, particularly after Sonam Vangchuk's forced hospitalization. Now the ISA activists who were on a hunger strike, they've ended their fast. You had multiple MPs, actor Shabana Azmi, who came and gave them water and fed them, and that's how they broke their fast. But here, you know, there are no signs of a march, a full-blown march to the parliament. The parliament session is on as we speak. Internet here has been suspended in this area. People are coming in in large numbers. But there is right now no sign of a full-blown march to the parliament.
