The Kokoro Janata Party has claimed a big victory. Abhijeet Dipke has just announced that the government has extended an olive branch. The government has invited them for talks and this was of course one of the many demands that the Kokoro Janata Party had apart from Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation. But now Abhijeet Dipke has announced that the government has initiated dialogue with the Kaukro Janata Party and that is a big victory because so far it's been 21 days of the hunger strike and almost a month of this protest and there was absolutely no dialogue from the government. The government had in fact refused to even acknowledge that such a movement or such a protest is taking place in the heart of Delhi and for the first time on the day of the Sansad Chalo March, Abhijit Dipke has just announced that the government has invited the Kaukro Janata Party for a dialogue. This is a big victory and this is a big climb down for the government as well. The government had refused to so far, like I said, even acknowledge that such a movement is taking place in the heart of Delhi But now remains to be seen how these talks really happen whether it will be a government delegation that comes to talk to the Kaukro Janata Party or whether you know they go because they had also said earlier that they will only sit across the table when Dharmendra Pradhan tenders his resignation so that has definitely not happened so is it a kind of a shifting of the goal post as well by the Kaukro Janata Party Will they call off the march or the protest after this government dialogue? That remains to be seen. But they are claiming a big victory because this is the first time in almost a month that the government has initiated a sort of a dialogue and extended an olive branch. Thousands of people had gathered here. And these are scenes that we haven't witnessed in Delhi, at least in the past decade or so, where youngsters from different educational backgrounds, socioeconomic backgrounds, caste classes had all converged here. They were marching towards the parliament. They attempted to march but the police stopped them. But now Abhijeet Dipke has announced that the government has invited them to talk.
