AISA alleges police tried detaining hunger-striking students; human chain protects them.

Not just Sonam Vangchuk, the Delhi police this morning also tried to forcefully remove the three student activists from ISA, All India Students Association, who are also on a hunger strike. You can see Manish, Ameen and Neha. They have also been on a hunger strike ever since Sonam Vangchuk started his Anshan. So they've also been on a fast for the last 21 days. They are not in the condition to talk to us right now. But we are showing you what happened to them this morning. A big group of the Delhi police and rapid action force was here. We don't know whether they were trying to hospitalize these protesters as well as they did with Sonam Bankchuk. But they were all here and they were trying to come here. And that's when these protesters and other activists from ISA formed a human chain right here where I'm standing and prevented the forces from coming close to these people. These protesters are saying that despite Sonam Bangchuk's forced hospitalisation, their hunger strike is continuing. They are extremely weak. They have lost close to 7 to 10 kgs of weight. Neha has lost 7 kgs. Ameen and Manish have lost close to 10 kgs of weight. So they are also at the risk of hospitalisation but they say that they will continue till the time the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan decides.
