They've not even initiated a dialogue with Sonam Vangchuk. His demand is the education minister's resignation. Even if that demand is not fulfilled, at least a dialogue can be initiated in a democracy. And secondly, initially, a lot of people were doubting Sonam Vangchuk's hunger strike. They were saying that he's drinking chicken soup. He's still having food. He's going to the washroom and eating. And this one video shows the reality to all those people who were doubting this hunger strike. Sonam Vangchuk is looking like this because he has lost more than eight kilograms of weight. He used to weigh around 66 kilograms before this hunger strike started and now he weighs just about 57 kgs. So yes, you might see this man still smiling, still waving. He still says that he's fine and he can go on for many more days on this hunger strike. But this is the reality that he's hiding behind that smile. But despite all of this, he's still asking all his supporters to not ask him to end his hunger strike, but he's asking people to go ask the government why are they not responding to him? Why are they being so insensitive? And he's asking people to join him and the Kokro Janta Party on the 20th of July when they will march to the parliament. He's saying that we now have to go to the parliament to get attention to our demands because despite 27 days of a protest in the heat and the rain at Jantar Mantar and 19 days of this hunger strike, the government has been silent.
