Things took a dramatic turn at Jantar Mantar this morning. Around 7.30 am, the police took away Sonam Vangchuk to Savdarjung Hospital. It was done under very suspicious circumstances, even though the police claims that this was done in keeping with the order of the High Court to monitor Sonam Vangchuk's health. There are visuals that have emerged which show the police having used bedsheets as cover and plain-clothes policemen who came to escort Sonam Vangchuk out. A bunch of protesters were also assaulted in that process, even though the police says that they maintained restraint. Abhijit Deepke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party here has announced that he will start a hunger strike of his own from today. Activists from the All India Students Association are continuing their hunger strike. They are sitting somewhere to the left, to the right of the stage. And the march for the 20th, that is Monday, is on. That is what the Cockroach Janta Party is saying. They've appealed to people from all over India, all over Delhi to continue coming into Jantar Mantar and join the march on the 20th to parliament
